The central highlands cover the southern part of the Truong Son Mountain range and comprise the provinces of Lam Dong, Daklak, Gia Lai and Kontum. The area is home to several ethnic minority groups with only about two million people, but has always been considered important due to its strategic location: close proximity to the Cambodian border
The Ho Chi Minh trail and national route 1A. During the Vietnam War, considerable fighting took place in this area which is now renowned for its cool climate, beautiful mountain scenery and tribal culture.

Itinerary
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Arrival (B, L, D)

Saigon vietnam | Arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport, transfer to hotel. If time permits, City tour of Ho Chi Minh City include War Remnant Museum where you could see the significant display of many war artifacts; Reunification Palace which was once the headquarter of the South Vietnamese’s government. Overnight in HCMC.
Day 2: HCMC - Pleiku - Kon Tum (B, L, D)
Transfer to airport for flight to Pleiku. Arrival in Pleiku and transfer to Kontum. Hotel check-in. Afternoon visit to former Dakto battlefield (1967) including Charlie hill, Phuong Hoang airfield, Dakto Museum. Then visit to suspension bridge and Sedang hill-tribe village. Dinner followed by show with hill-tribe orphans. Overnight in Kontum.
Day 3: Kon Tum - Pleiku (B, L, D)
