The Dalat Flower Festival 2005 closed on December 18 with an impressive art performance programme on the side of Xuan Huong Lake.

The 60-minute art performance programme, which drew the participation of more than 2,300 professional and amateur artists from Ho Chi Minh City and Da Lat City, left deep impressions on visitors and local people.

According to the Organising Committee, the closing ceremony attracted at least 13,000 visitors, raising the total number of people visiting this year's flower festival to around 80,000.

The next Da Lat Flower Festival is scheduled to open in 2007.
