Hanoi Tourism Company (Hanoitourist) is expected to welcome a US group of 19 TV reporters and photographers who will tour Vietnam from January 18-29 to make films and take photos featuring the country’s traditional culture during its traditional Lunar New Year Festival (Tet).

The company will help the delegation gain a better understanding about the Vietnamese people’s Tet welcoming customs by joining traditional festivities and witnessing ceremonies to worship ancestors on New Year’s Eve and the Kitchen God.

In 2005 Vietnam welcomed more than 333,566 US visitors, an increase of 22.4 percent compared to 2004.
