Foreign fliers leaving Vietnam can get back hard currency

The State Bank of Vietnam has allowed Sasco, a local air service company, to offer exchange services at Tan Son Nhat airport in co-operation with a local bank.

The maximum amount of foreign currencies travelers can get would be equal to the total amount they converted into dongs while in the country, Sasco said.

State-run Sasco, or Southern Airport Service Company, is the first company in Vietnam to be allowed to provide the service.
