Detailed Itinerary:

Welcome pick up at Phnom Penh International Airport by Asia Tour Advisor’s guide and transfer to hotel. Lunch is at the hotel, enjoy Phnom Penh city tour: Visit the Victory Monument, and the National Museum, also known as the Musée des Beaux-Arts. A French archaeologist and painter, Georges Groslier, designed it in Khmer style in 1917. The museum contains a collection of Khmer art, especially sculptures from different eras. Visit the Royal Palace of King Norodom, built in 1866 on the grounds of the old city and then the Silver Pagoda. They called Silver Pagoda, because there is a floor of 5000 silver tiles. Other treasures, which you will see are a Buddha made of solid gold and weighing 90 kilograms and a small emerald Buddha from the 17th Century, and baccarat crystal Buddha. Your tour ends this afternoon with the visit of Wat Phnom, Phnom Penh's namesake. Have dinner is at a local restaurant and stay overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel and departure by car to Battambang (290 km, 4-5 hours drive). Stop in Kompong Chhnang, to visit the pottery village, the floating village on Krar Corinthians by boat. Lunch is at a local restaurant.

Ride from Phnom Penh to Kompong Chhnang by boat. Enjoy an unforgettable cruise on the Tonle Sap River on board a private boat from Phnom Penh to Kompong Chhnang! Drive along the picturesque Sangker River to Wat Slaket Pagoda, the seat of Government of the Buddhist patriarchs. Continue to visit Wat Ek Phnom. Then you visit a market in which Prahoc made the Cambodian fish paste. Have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon visit the Provincial Museum (Saturday / Sunday closed) and the local market. Drive to Phnom Banon, with its five towers of sandstone and located on a hill. Here you can enjoy the magnificent view. Dinner is at a local restaurant and stay overnight at the hotel.

Option 1 (between mid of July to mid of January):
Travel by private boat to Siem Reap along the Sangker River. Enjoy the pristine landscape and traditional daily life scenes. Stop at the cheur Khmao Pagoda, "Black Wood Pagoda", in Bak Prier, we see a floating village and another, we cross into Prek Tuol. Picnic lunch is on board. Continue by boat across the Tonle Sap Lake to the floating village Chhong Kneas. Dinner and overnight in Siem Reap.
Option 2 (mid of January to mid of July):
Depart from Battambang to Siem Reap on Sisophon by land. Visit the Khmer silk village of Phnom Srok, or "Little Hill" and learn the entire process of transformation in the familiar silk production, from mulberry leaf, up to the shimmering silk. Cambodia's silk has a great tradition for several centuries. However, silk production had many difficulties in recent decades, through wars and displacement of population structure. In most villages has been completed, therefore, the silk trade, but Phnom Srok is the region that has preserved this knowledge and experience in both the silkworms, as well as in the silk-weaving. Huge paddy fields and a beautiful ornithological reserve bordering it a few square kilometres region name. There you will discover the skills of women who give life to these activities, today strongly again. A Walk on "the path of the golden silk," the visitor encounters the quiet rural lifestyle, the curiosity of children and their laughter and the smiles of the adults. See the beautiful old houses and warehouses of rice, lunch at a local restaurant in Sisophon. Have dinner and stay overnight in Siem Reap.

Breakfast at the hotel and then visit the Roluos group, the Monuments of Roluos, the capital of Indravarman the I. (ruled 877-889), are among the earliest large, permanent temples built by the Khmers and mark the beginning of classical Khmer art. Preah Ko erected by the king Indravarman the I. in the late 9th Century and consecrated in 880 his ancestors. Bakong the largest and most interesting temple of Roluos Group, with his active Buddhist monastery in the north of the eastern entrance. Lolei built on a small island in the middle of a large water reservoir (now rice fields) by the Yasovarman I, the founder of the first city at Angkor. Have lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon you will continue your tour with other temples. Including Prasat Kravan with unique brick sculptures, Srah Srang (“the pool of ablutions"), certainly in the past used for ritual bathing, Banteay Kdei, surrounded by four concentric walls, the East Mebon, guarded at its corners by stone elephants, some of which are still preserved in reasonable condition and Pre Rup, the mountain temple where we will enjoy the sunset. In the morning visit the most famous of all temples on the plain of Angkor, Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers glory on the Cambodian flag and a masterpiece of the 12th Century. Art historians describe him as a prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat's five towers symbolize Meru, the five peaks; the enclosing wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding ditches, sea. Lunch is at the hotel. Visit the South Gate with its huge statues and the ancient capital of the 12th Century, Angkor Thom, continue to see the Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers with over 200 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara paid), the royal residence, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King. Enjoy the Sunset at Angkor Wat. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and stay overnight at the hotel.

Early morning transfer to the archaeological sites for the sunrise at Phnom Bakheng, one of the two hills above the plain of Angkor, from where you have a spectacular view of the Western Baray and Angkor Wat. Or enjoy sunrise at Srah Srang. Return to hotel for breakfast. In the morning, transfer to Banteay Srei temple from the 10th Century and as the crown jewel of classical Khmer art considered. Continue to Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in the region. The Ta Prohm has been left relatively untouched since its discovery, and has retained many of its secrets. Its charm lies in the fact that, unlike the other monuments of Angkor, which was given up to free him from the jungle. Then continue to Wat Inkosei built on the site of an ancient temple and the Wat Bo pagoda, with its well-preserved paintings. You'll also see that the monks adorn the pagodas with various bars. Lunch is at the hotel. Visit to "Les Artisans d'Angkor - Chantiers Ecoles" of Siem Reap and time at leisure at a local market if time permits. Transfer to the airport for departure.
