Welcome pick up at the international airport in Phnom Penh by Asia Tour Advisor’s guide and transfer to hotel. Have lunch at the hotel and enjoy a Phnom Penh city tour; Visit the Victory Monument, visit the Royal Palace of King Norodom built in 1866 on the grounds of the old city and the Silver Pagoda. Situated in the grounds of the royal palace, it is called Silver Pagoda, because the soil consists of 5000 silver tiles. Other treasures, which you will see are a Buddha made of solid gold and weighing 90 kilograms and a small emerald Buddha from the 17th Century, and baccarat crystal Buddha. Dinner is at a local restaurant. Stay overnight in Phnom Penh.

Detailed Itinerary:
Breakfast is at the hotel, drive to Wat Phnom, namesake of the capital Phnom Penh, the famous Central Market and the National Museum as a Museum of Fine Arts. A French archaeologist and painter, Georges Groslier, designed it in Khmer style in 1917. The museum contains a collection of Khmer art, especially sculpture. Lunch is at the hotel. Then visit the infamous Tuol Sleng museum. In 1975, the Tuol Svay Prey High School was taken over by Pol Pot's security forces and used as a prison known as Security Prison 21 (S-21) become. It soon became apparent as the largest such centre of detention and torture in the country. More than 17,000 people were being housed in the S-21 to later in the extermination camps in Choeung Ek brought. Prisoners died during the torture and were buried in mass graves in the prison floor. The museum displays include room after room photos of these men, women and children. On the walls from floor to ceiling are virtually represented all the people who were later killed. Have breakfast at the hotel, drive to Kompong Cham and Kratie on Snuol. Lunch at a local restaurant in Snuol. Arrive in Kratie and check-in at hotel. In the afternoon is a sightseeing tour in this small town with its good examples of sumptuous colonial architecture. This small town on the Mekong River is an unexpected pleasure, with a relaxing atmosphere, lazy. Further north, we consider a boat ride to the Irrawady rare freshwater dolphins, which have to pay to see the best in the late afternoon on a visit. Then drive back to Kratie. Dinner is at a local restaurant and stay overnight in Kratie.

Breakfast is at a local restaurant, visit the pagoda and the market then go to Chhup, the largest rubber plantation in the country, which was founded during the French colonial period by the tire manufacturer Michelin. Lunch is at a local restaurant in Kampong Cham. Visit the Wat Nokor Pagoda with its ancient temple and modern style dem12. Century and then proceed to Kampong Thom. Arrive in Kampong Thom and check-in at hotel. Dinner is at a local restaurant and stay overnight in Kampong Thom.

Breakfast is at the hotel, departure in Kompong Thom for Sambor Prei Kuk, located 35 km northeast of Kampong Thom. Visit the ancient capital of Chenla with its 100 temples from the pre-Angkor period and go back to Kampong Thom. Lunch is at a local restaurant. Continuing to Siem Reap. On the way to Siem Reap, we stop at the Naga Bridge (Spean Pratpo), which is located 40 km from Siem Reap. Arrive in Siem Reap and transfer to hotel. In the evening we drive to Phnom Krom, from here to enjoy the sunset over the rice fields on the Tonle Sap. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Visit the Roluos group, the Monuments of Roluos, the capital of Indravarman the I. (ruled 877-889), are among the earliest large, permanent built temples of the Khmer and mark the beginning of classical Khmer art. Preah Ko erected by the king Indravarman the I in the late 9th Century and consecrated in 880 his ancestors. Bakong the largest and most interesting temple of Roluos Group, with his active Buddhist monastery in the north of the eastern entrance. Lolei built on a small island in the middle of a large water reservoir (now rice fields) by the Yasovarman I, the founder of the first city at Angkor. Lunch is at the hotel. In the afternoon then continue the tour with other temples. Including Prasat Kravan with unique brick sculptures, Srah Srang (“the pool of ablutions"), certainly in the past used for ritual bathing, Banteay Kdei, surrounded by four concentric walls, the East Mebon, guarded at its corners by stone elephants, some of which are still preserved in reasonable condition and Pre Rup, the mountain temple where we will enjoy the sunset. Have breakfast at the hotel. In the morning visit the most famous of all temples on the plain of Angkor, Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers glory on the Cambodian flag and a masterpiece of the 12th Century. Art historians describe him as a prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat's five towers symbolize Meru, the five peaks; the enclosing wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding ditches the sea. Lunch is at the hotel. Visit the South Gate with its huge statues and the ancient capital of the 12th Century, Angkor Thom. We continue to see the Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers with over 200 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara paid), the royal residence, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King. Enjoy sunset at Angkor Wat. Dinner is at a local restaurant and stay overnight at the hotel.

Affter breakfast at the hotel, drive to the remote Beng Mealea temple through the typical Khmer countryside (60 km from Siem Reap). Explore this long-abandoned temple in the 11th Century, surrounded by the jungle. Packed lunches will be provided for this day. In the afternoon, visit Banteay Srei temple (10.-century), regarded as the crown jewel of classical Khmer art. Continue to visit Banteay Samre, one of the most complete facilities in Angkor, above all, because of the restoration by the method of "Anastylosis. Samre, the name refers to an ethnic group of mountain people; the region at the base of Phnom Kulen inhabited and is probably associated with the Khmer. None Inscriptions have been found for this temple, but the style of most of the architecture corresponds to the classical art of the middle period, as well as in Angkor Wat. The proportions of Banteay Samre are enormous. A unique feature is an interior moat with lateritic paving, which is filled with water to the temple an ethereal atmosphere. Return to Siem Reap. Early morning transfer to the archaeological sites for the sunrise at Phnom Bakheng, one of the two hills above the plain of Angkor, from where you have a spectacular view of the Western Baray and Angkor Wat. Or enjoy sunrise at Srah Srang. Return to hotel for breakfast, visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, which is located 10 km south of Siem Reap. Take a boat ride in a traditional boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia and one of the largest in Asia. Lunch is at the hotel. In the afternoon continue visit to the Temple of Preah Khan. Built by King Jayavarman VII, Preah Khan is, like Ta Prohm, a place of countless corridors and rooms. However, the temples of Preah Khan, Ta Prohm, are unlike in a reasonable state of preservation and ongoing restoration efforts and to improve the situation and maintained. Built next to Neak Pean, a fountain in the middle of a swimming pool (representing the paradisiacal Himalayan Mountain Lake), and conclude we visit Ta Som, built in the third quarter of the 12th Century. It consists of a central temple with four wings preceded by a hall and two libraries, which are remarkably well preserved. Two concentric walls once enclosed the ensemble.
